Carb # 47547 I have your pump and vacuum regulator at idle I have 8psi if I remove the vacuum line quickly and watch the gage I get 10.5 to 11 psi with vacuum hooked up and reving up engine gage jumps up then levels at 8 once vacuum comes back so this shows me the reg is working however no matter what I do I only get 8psi under full throttle down track its almost like the carb is to small and gets a vacuum signal ounce I'm under power I don't have a vacuum gage in the car to see what down track full throttle vacuum is .I'm sure I'm getting a lean pop going through the eyes because of this at the 1/4 mile  What are your thoughts .Thanks James

Check to be sure the .031 bleed hole is in the hat of the regulator and not plugged up.

It could be a restriction on the fuel pump... what fuel filter are you using?  How big is the vent in your fuel cell?  Did you run the pump with a 30 amp relay located real close to the pump?

Ive seen where dual -8s flow less and by going to a proper single -10 line fixes the issue.  Dual 8s dont move as much fuel when going through SOME Y blocks and it drags the pump down.
